A Very Berry Breakfast

Good Morning!! I can't believe it's Friday already and I'm graduating in 2 days. It's a scary thought.

It's supposed to reach 80 degrees here this weekend so I skipped the oats and went for some good ol' cold cereal.

Here's the mix by layer:
Cascade Fresh All Natural boysenberry yogurt
Wheat Bran
Kashi Honey Almond Flax Go Lean Crunch
Defrosted frozen strawberries and blueberries
Sprinkle of coconut

Cascade Fresh yogurts were on sale at Whole Foods last time I was there so I picked two up because they had some interesting berry flavors! While I heard of boysenberries, I've never tried them and it didn't disappoint! I wonder if I could find the actual berries anywhere. It was so good. I also had a Marionberry yogurt but wasn't too impressed.

Usually I include flax in my breakfasts every morning for the fiber, protein, and omega 3's. But for some reason I feel like I shouldn't use wheat bran and flax together. I had to make a decision. Here are the stats:

While they both have fiber and protein, wheat bran has 2g more of fiber. Also, I never use an entire serving of flax but I do use an entire serving of wheat bran because it's so low cal! I won't be getting my Omega 3's though but then I realized the Kashi cereal is Honey Almond Flax. Yay, I didn't have to choose after all!

And black coffee with a multivitamin in my new Public and Professional Writing mug. I got this at my exit interview last week. It's the Certificate I'm graduating with. I feel so accomplished using it :)

On the agenda for today is my last day at work (sad because I've been there for 2 years!), finishing up my catalog and putting together my final design portfolio to hand in, a run (an actual run) to a chocolate store to get my Dad a birthday gift, and then packing because my parents are arriving tomorrow to move me out!

We're going to the Melting Pot tomorrow night for my graduation dinner. Have you ever heard of it? It's a big fondue restaurant. I can't wait! I looked up the menu online and they have like 12 kinds of chocolate fondue. I have my eye on the S'mores fondue I think...

Ok well here's the food smarts question for the day:

True or False:
Pancetta is a sweet Italian cake.

I'll let you know later! Have a great Friday!
